Marsch is considered the finest soccer player ever produced in Racine County and for a good reason. After a standout career at Case High School, Marsch earned All-American honors at Princeton University in 1995 after scoring 16 goals as a midfielder/forward. Marsch then went on to play 14 seasons in Major League Soccer. In 2001, while playing for the Chicago Fire, he was chosen to the MLS All-Star team.
